once upon a time…

Henson Alexandra Milam was born in Raleigh, North Carolina to parents Virginia and Paul. She grew up watching Scooby Doo and playing dress up on a horse farm. Henson’s love for performing was sparked when she saw a local production of The Wizard of Oz. Flash forward 5 years later, she lands the coveted role of Munchkin in that same annual production and eventually went on to play the role of Dorothy in high school. She attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for high school and college in the BFA Drama program.

Henson moved to Orlando, Florida in 2019 and began working for the Walt Disney Company performing in shows and meet-and-greets across the Walt Disney World resort. She earned her Equity card in 2021 during the workshop for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, a 3-day one-of-a-kind immersive experience, as a principal actor and stunt performer. She helped launch the project in March of 2022 with Disney and Lucas Film.

While she calls a galaxy far, far away her home full-time, she joined the cast of Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage at Hollywood Studios in August of 2022 and enjoys performing in the quiet village whenever she gets the chance.

Henson portrayed Marie in Moonshot, a New Line Cinema film on HBOmax directed by Chris Winterbauer and starring Cole Sprouse, Lana Condor, and Zach Braff.

When she isn’t working, Henson enjoys running, crafting, true crime, and spending time with her 2 cats and chihuahua.

Henson is represented by Brevard Talent Group in Orlando, Florida.
